Yes, you cannot see love, because love grows within you, and when you
find that one person you're meant to be with, that love blooms and
becomes something special. Real love for another person isn't truly
driven by physical characteristics. So, love is "blind" in a way,
because it can bring two most unlikely people, together, and all it
takes is time and patience. So, love is only seen with the HEART, not
with the EYES.
And yes, love can in fact, "blind" you from other things, in other
words, it can cause you to lose your attention and main focus of other
things aside from love itself.
